Awhile back the Anglican head announced a 'moratorium' which he hoped would keep everyone happy, by suspending the ordination of gay clergy while not grappling with the substance!
Quite clearly that has not worked!
The Church is going to have to deal with the issue one way or the other!
I for one, while not Anglican, am happy with the lead the African church has taken on this issue!
How much can one be expected to compromise for unity's sake? The very essence?

The african church needs to stand it's ground.This is an issue where compromise should be rejected as homosexuality goes against what the church is and even the bible is against it.
