Is there any hope out there?

It's amazes me how low this world can push you if you let it!
Met someone the other day and you could just see the lack of hope in their face - almost didn't recognise them!
You could see it had permeated throughout their very being sinking deep and laying firm hold of any spark of hope they may have left and pushing it so deep inside it was all but unrecognisable.

Funny how we can let our perceptions - circumstances - who people say we are - define who we feel we really are.

The Good Book says that's a hoax.
We are who the Maker says we are, we are capable of what he says we are capable of and in Him we live and move and have our being.

So the circumstances may change but he remains the same and as a consequence so does our worth!

So who does He say you are?

HE says am His child, a priesthood, a royalty, His daughter and that i deserve the very best. Coz everything belongs to Him.

But, yes there have been/are those moments when i feel pushed and like i wanna give up ya know? But, ahve learnt trusting Him fully is the only and best way out.

I feel its on us to let everyone out there know there's hope coz He is real and true to His word/promises.

Great post!

The things that happen to me and MY people make me wonder if our suffering on this earth is indeed to teach us or Them a lesson.

I draw strength from Him that strenghtens me. I want to be the Proverbs 31 woman that He intended for me to be. Not to be defined by the color of my skin, the size of jeans I wear, the car I drive or whatever else is used as measure of our worth.....

Thanks for the comment on mapinduzi, will give a response to it later.
On who we are, the Great I AM says we are His people called by His name.
Apostle Paul challenges me on the things we face, that they are not new and that God will always see us through (I Cor.10:13).

Therefore, we are whom we are meant to be, no matter what situation or circumstance that come our way. Didn't the Lord himself say that the gates of hades shall not overcome His Church? (Matt. 16:18). Then who can change what the Lord has done or is doing?
